
In July, our country will be celebrating our Independence. The United States Declaration of Independence is an act of the Second Continental Congress, adopted on July 4, 1776, which declared that the Thirteen Colonies in North America were "Free and Independent States" and that "all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved. The Declaration is considered to be the founding document of the United States of America, where July 4 is celebrated as Independence Day and the nation's birthday. This July, people throughout our country once again will celebrate our political freedom.
At North Friendship, we have designated the month of July as “Freedom Month”. We, at North Friendship will celebrate not only our political freedom as Americans, but we will celebrate our spiritual freedom as Christians. John 8:36 says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” Join us this July as we celebrate our heritage and our salvation. Join us as we share the good news to others. Join us as we encourage others to experience the freedom that comes from living for Christ.
