Summit Kids

The "Summit Kids" Wednesday evening ministry is for elementary school age children (K-5th) with some pre-K attenders.  It is an informal "kids club" program combining life application lessons, fun, fellowship, and service.  We incorporate Bible stories and object lessons to reinforce the Biblical principle being taught.  We often have games and or crafts to keep the children engaged.  One goal of Summit Kids is to teach the children how to use their Bibles by showing them how it is organized into books, chapters and verses and how to navigate through it.  An additional objective of this ministry is to show the children that they are not too young to start serving the Lord through mission and outreach projects.  We strive to pack all this into a fast-paced, interactive, small group meeting during which there is never a dull moment!  Overall, the North Friendship Summit Kids ministry aims at "taking kids higher" by challenging them to become closer to Jesus and kindling in them a desire to give their hearts and lives to Him.
